Championship Hunt Spring Creek 3/14/2010

The 2010 VOBA points Championship at Spring Creek HC was another great hunt filled with good times and exceptional running. We appreciate all of those that contributed food, drinks, etc. during the 4 hours cast site parties this year. You all know who you are and you are definitely a big part of what makes this series so much fun. Thanks again and we look forward to the pen hunts cranking up here soon! Indian Oaks/Land Owners HC 3/06/2010

Everyone had a great time this past weekend at the Indian Oaks/Landowners trial in Crewe, VA. With tons of judges, some beautiful rolling property, great food, cold beverages, and some unreal oysters provided by Beach Billy, it was hard not to have a good time. Congratulations to Austin for having a banner day and taking home the clock as well as the side bet money. We look forward to seeing everyone this upcoming Saturday at Spring Creek HC for the 2010 championship hunt. The cream of the crop will be there and the judges will be breaking their trucks to get the best of the best scored on paper. See yall there!

LAST CHANCE HUNT CLUB FIELD TRIAL 2/20/2010

This past weekend’s hunt at Last Chance Hunt Club was a great time once again with gorgeous weather, great food, insane running, and some more continued success for Heat on the Meat Kennels. We thank all of those that provided the chicken wings, Pickens for the peaches, and Mother Nature for the 50 degree sunny day. We look forward to seeing everyone in a few weeks at the last regular season hunt of the year.

CALLAVILLE HUNT CLUB FIELD TRIAL 2/13/2010

The hunt at Callaville Hunt Club on February 13th, 2010 was not only a great time for everyone, but managed to still be a success for Heat on the Meat Kennels despite Micky J falling back to 4th place in the points. As a kennel, Heat on the Meat still managed to place 3 dogs and Callaville HC definitely put on a great hunt with lots of judges, great raffle prizes, and plenty of help afterwards catching dogs. Twin Rivers Kennels managed though to put on a clinic this past weekend, placing multiple dogs, putting 3 in the top ten in points, and winning a pile of money. Everyone is gunning for yall now though boys, so you better have em wrapped tight. Looking forward to seeing everyone at Last Chance on Saturday for yet another great time!
